Newbie to Diesel :P

Well Im currently in Iraq. My 2004 dodge ram is currently paid for and will be sold for cash (7-9k). The grandparents currently own an 2006 Ford F350 XLT LB 6.0l. Used for hauling a ( I think this is Right ) 32' Gooseneck Mobliehome trailer.

The trailer is long gone as of 2 months ago and they owe 6k on the truck. I asked to take over payments and they said yes. Im currently 25 and would like this truck to last awhile.. So my actual question for the older members here is this:

I have emailed Vivian for a SCT X3 and a tune... Great company and help/price FYI!
and Im in the middle of 2 products for monitoring Vitals.

- Edge CTS or Aeroforce Interceptor

Both pretty much run the same price but Id like other peoples insight in the CTS. Have not seen one topic on the interceptor on this fourms.

Im shooting for a jump in HP/TRQ department with the Looneytune/Intake dropin filter/Exhaust.

When i get home id like to do a ARP headstud and EGR replacement... and a possible better intercooler.

Interceptor website:
Aeroforce Technology Inc | Products - Interceptor

Thanks 4 the help... and Im still sifting through the CTS search results haha

I'd go with the CTS, I have one I love it. You can customize is a lot more, plus you can monitor up to 8 PIDS on a CTS vs 2 on the Aeroforce.

I would just leave the intake stock. Supposedly they are good up so 500 hp. The exhaust, SCT and CTS are great. Definatly want to get a look at those EOT"S and ECT's.

Welcome and thanks for your service!

Egde customer service is excellent. Keep that in mind when selecting a monitor. They answered all my questions I had with my insight CTS when I had an issue with it freezing up. They sent me a replacement for free and it's been working perfect since. Also, Edge has been consistently bringing out updates and new products, with the EAS system. I'm extremely happy with the company.

yeah id like to just like to get more air flow... a dropin filter and a better intake elbow should suffice
