Use the search bar. google is also good.
Innovative, quick tricks and gear head are the top 3. Best to do is call them each and talk about their tunes. A large part of the reviews will be from ones that have only used one company for tunes. Very few will have tunes from multiple companies, hopefuly they chime in. Last edited by smokersteve; 10-03-2011 at 02:24 PM. |

Vivian's looney tune from Quicktricks is what I run. I like it. It shifts great and has a ton of power. It doesnt smoke unless you lug it and then put it on the floor, then it smokes and tries to break the tires loose. It gets great mileage too (relative to a 6000 lb truck).
And nothing has blown up yet

1.) you dont want smoke
2.) each truck will react differently to each tune 3.) IMO, for flat out balls to the wall power, my SRL is all there, matt has a great rep for stock bolts, little smoke, and good tranny shifting HOWEVER, i do frequently tow, plow snow, haul, etc, so the best ALL AROUND fun/mpg/usable tune IN MY OPINION is the innovative basic street (NOT the extreme) |

I only know innovative street tune. I like it allot for DD and towing my 10,000lb 5th wheel.
I would like to adjust how it shifts. It is just a little off. It could be because I use LV transmission fluid. I have no idea if that could be the reason because I do not remember having the small problem before I had LV in my trans. But some day I will call eric and discuss how to adjust the shifting. Its not a big enough deal, I have been driving this tune for over a year. I only notice it at heavy throttle/towing and it is still not "bad". Every truck is a little differnt. I use to have the EDGE Juice platinum, this could be why I have the little shift issue. |
