My truck is listed in my signiture.
I have tunes from Matt and Eric and on the dyno this morning this is how it performed. SRL+-321HP 598tq IDP X race 165hp-355tq SRL unlim tow 155hp 345tq What is going on. Is it the over sized tires and not geared? The dyno guy said i was starving for fuel and should be showing 400+ for sure The diesel shop tech said its not showing 70-80HP extra because of the over sized tires and not being geared. Has anyone seen results like that??? Seat of pants feel you can tell its more than whats proclaimed because its not a dog at all! And yes all of the tunes are wrote for the power max that is in the truck. Talk about a major let down ![]() ![]()

What kind of boost numbers where you seeing? Also what kind of dyno and where the operators familiar with dynoing diesels?

Boost was between 28lbs and 30lbs. It was a diesel dyno shoot out. I had three pulls on each tune.
The dyno was a dyno dynamics. I dont know the model or anything but it was just a small box the rear tires were pulled on to. The operator tried a bunch of different settings and ran tons of other trucks with out problems. Seemed like he was very knowledgeable. I cant figue out how Inovatives tune was such a drag either unless it is just runnig out of fuel that much.There was no smoke with any of the tunes while on the dyno either. |

interesting i ran on a dyno dynamics and put down 375 with my dually on 35's and two sticking injectors and were weak. sounds like the dyno was screwed up but if you loosing that much fuel then im wondering why your injectors didnt pop. need to monitor fuel pressure and get back with us.

It was the dyno dinamics mobile schasis dyno.
I know I'm not sending enough fuel to make crazy numbers but I should still be well within the 400+ mark of the the Stock+tuner motor on both the SRL+ and X race. I think it has to have tons to do with the tires. The dyno guy kept changing the load to with each tune to find the best numbers.

Check your fuel pressure you should get a little smoke on the dyno.

321hp down to 165hp .......if your truck had 165hp there would be no seat of the pants feel.....I still think the problem is the dyno not your truck

You had to know I was gonna ask, but can you scan your graphs and post them? I have to agree with the rest of them here, there is something not right, but even with not enough fuel you should have seen better numbers than that out of Eric's tune. Did the truck downshift or something? Let us see the graphs, please. Something is out of whack here.

37's dont kill over 200hp. if you can post up the graphs. i bet they kept the tc locked the whole time and rolled into it vs letting it downshift and punching it
