FICM FLASH VERSION QUESTION

So by some luck last Jan my local stealership warranty claimed a bad FICM on my 05 6.0.... Bad thing I think is they reflashed me to ARZ2AL11..... Should I have this back flashed to a version??? The original flash they found on it was ARZ2AL01 and I read that was pretty old and should not have been left at that..

Help I just got my SCT in and I want to make sure I have the best flash and strategy in it for optimal performance. Any help is much apperciated!

On a side note, I am pulling out the edge crap that came in the truck when I bought it, will that EGT probe work on my SCT?

You can leave the edge in as a monitor unless you are planning on other gauges.

Reflash to the original 05 up FICM strategy or get a custom FICM tune from PHP

I am doing pillar and mirror gauges.... how can I get the FICM flashed back, I think I will end up doing a custom ficm tune from PHP, but not until late Novemebr when I put my truck in to get all the bullet proofing done.... I have been sitting on the stuff for months, but the shop is cutting me a discount end of November because they are always slow and will need the work

I tried to do the same thing and have the dealership flash the ECM back to my old VXC4 code when they replaced my FICM and FICM harness threw warranty. My dealership said they dont keep old strategies in their system when the new ones come out threw FORD. If you want to re-flash to an older version you will have to go threw PowerHungryPerformance.com to either send out your ECM so they can reflash it for you or be put on a waiting list so they can send you out their programmer that you can do yourself. Your dealership may work differnt then mine, all you can do is ask and worst they can say is no.
