All I can say is H*** S***!

I just bought a SCT SF3 and loaded the canned "performance" tune and man, did it wake my truck up!!!! Had to be careful driving through town so the tires wouldn't break free. Can't wait until I get a custom tune!

Had a bit of an issue trying to flash the computer at first, but a quick call to SCT customer support and I was grinning from ear to ear !!

Now I understand why everyone has been tuning!

Man, I remember that feeling. It's like waking up a beast.

Now do what the others said. Go get a custom tune (Matt).

Be sure to watch your temps. Don't roll around to much on the Extreme/Performance tune, it's not all that great on the tranny. And yes, just like everyone (even yourself) has said - custom tunes are the way to go!

Who are you looking at going with?

race tunes arent hard on your tranny, if anything the firmer shifts are better for it

I think he was referring to the canned performance tune.

How are custom tunes "better" for the truck than pre-loaded SCT tunes? I read alot about people having custom tunes for studded or non-studded trucks, ect..

How does that work?

Not sure, it seems that Eric and Matt have equal followings. I will be looking for a tune that will allow for 10,000 lb tow with decent performance and of course better then stock fuel economy.
