I've got a Diamond Eye 5" kit that I bought from Performance Machine Mfg. It fits great and was less than 300 dollars. Their 4 inch kit is around 80-100 or so less than that. My students and I had the old system off and the new 5" kit on in about 2 1/2 hrs. It's a 4 inch Down Pipe and 5" Straight Pipe. No cat, no muffler. No matter what brand you go with, the straight piped version will probably be the cheapest route. Good Luck!! Preston

I straight piped mine for $110. Just slightly louder than I would like. Sounds awesome under acceleration

X2!!!

I bought a muffler delete pipe from an online vendor (can't seem to find the link right now) and if i remeber correctly it was only about $60 plus shipping. I read somewhere that careful disassembly of the muffler would allow you to use the muffler's outlet pipe that is actually internal to the muffler. Sure enough it had a flanged and flared end and the delete pipe slipped right in!!! I even cut the muffler apart in such a way that I could leave the rear muffler hangers (over the rear axle area) on the muffler outlet pipe so the exhaust still had the proper support. My kitty cat got sick too while all this work was going on and now the truck sounds flat out awesome.

The sound at idle is best described as a mix of hairdryer/jet airplane whistle/tractor trailer idle rumble. I think my fuel economy is going to go in the dumps because I can't keep my foot out of it. I can't stop smiling.
