Battery cable upgrade

I just bought a DCPower 190A alternator and was curious how I should run the 1/0 power and ground cables. Would there be any benefit to running a seperate power cable from the alternator to each battery? I'm also planning on running a 1/0 ground from the alternator, to the passenger battery, and from the battery to the frame. Any benefits to doing it this way as opposed to running it the way it was ran from the factory?

It's called "Big 3 upgrade". I ran mine, alternator to positive on pass side battery, negative post from battery to frame, frame to engine.

It helped steady my volts and allowed better current flow.

You can google it, you'll find alot of talk about it on Audio forums.

I did basically the, same alternator to battery, re grounded both batteries, and also ran an extra between the two batteries positive cables. I put the 270amp in mine my large 12v air compressor never slows down now even at idle.
