Using the old school SCT programmer. Why get a new one?

I got my truck, programmer and tunes back in 06. No problems with tune (Vivian) or truck other then injectors sticking but it's not the programmers fault.

Is there an advantage of getting new tunes?

Is there an advantage of getting a new programmer?

Please advise.

If your tunes are from 06 some advances have been made.

No need to upgrade from your Xcal 2 though if it works. There is a firmware update for it though.

Thanks guys. I didn't think the programmer would make a difference, it's the PROGRAM. I've heard great things about Matt, what does he charge and where does he work?
