Powermax/155's = EGT's?
I've searched. I am thick, but I looked long and hard and couldnt find anything on it, so I'm turning to the forum.
Truck is an 06, CCSB, 6" lift on 37" KM2's, ARP's, 6.4 banjo's, blue spring, 4" d.p to 4" exhaust, built 5R110, billet convertor, 1 piece driveshaft, IDP tunes, IDP 155 sticks, Powermax, Accufab elbow, banks intake.(Thats where my boat money went)
Before the Powermax and injectors I could cruise the interstate at 75-80 with an EGT of 600-625. I'm now seeing the same EGT's at 55-60. Is this normal? Bumped it up to 70 today and saw 800. I thought with more cfm I would see lower EGT's? Wondering if it's leaning out? I will be checking f.p. under load as soon as I can get some dyno time. Gauge is there but I'm wanting to double check.
What has YOUR EGT's done with the Powermax and injectors?
Also, I may be the only one, and I know I am going crazy, but I swear my truck was faster with stock injectors and turbo.
