Holset Turbo?

Just a question- will the Holset Turbo from the 24V 5.9L Cummins fit on our 6.0 engines? Has anyone done this before? I think I can get a really good price on one... I know that they aren't variable and that they're a little bigger... So I'm just curious...

Thanks!!
Preston

I didn't know they were bigger... vgt kicks ***. Buy a powermax and some injectors you'll be set.

Ah... that's what I was curious of... if it would bolt right up or not... I'm hoping not to have to replace my turbo, but I thought that if I did need to, that I could get the Holset for cheap... Guess not... Has anyone ever done it?

Just figured if I could get one for free then I could replace the Variable Turbo with a larger turbo. Then I wouldn't have to worry about it rusting, wet stacking, vanes sticking, sooting up, idling problems, or some of the other issues that the VGT seems to have. But, if it won't work, then I'll just go another route. Thanks y'all!
