X3 and SF3
I know the difference between the two is that the SF3 comes with canned tunes. But if you buy a used programmer with custom tunes alread loaded on it can you delete the tunes yourself without having to send it out so you can load your own tunes on it?

If your buying used, read this first.
What to look for when buying used SCT for 6.0 When you load a custom tune file on a SCT device, it doesn't transfer the original file, but just a copy of that file. The original stays in your PC, and a copy loads to the SCT. If your used SCT device came with custom tunes from the prior owner, you'll be able to delete the old tunes and put on your tunes. |
