New to SCT

I have the X3 with custom tunes from Liberator Performance. I loaded my '05 Excursion 4x4 today, what I am wondering is can you give me some advise about the trans and shift setup. Not going to race. Only looking to get mileage and tow my 5000lb boat. I have it on street now. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Leave the settings alone, that's why you got custom tuning. If you do decide to play with the shift firmness, only increase it by 5% at a times and test drive it for a couple of days before you bump up another 5%.

Or if your not happy how the custom tune runs, call your tune writer up and have them adjust it to your liking.

Also the trans needs time to relearn, usually with in 50 miles.

Thanks for the input. From everything I've read it seems that the street gets better mileage if you keep you foot out of it.
