straight pipe or not? personal experience and problems?

I have a 4 inch turboback right now but its got a muffler still. Should I be worried about goin to a full straight pipe? What differences should I expect in power and mpg if any?

it will sound better and louder. Your mpg will only change for the worse because you wont be able to keep your right foot out of it

Ha ha what about backpressure? Some say you can create enough backpressure in the turbo itself. This true?

only difference will be the sound when you get on it.

what he said. You will not see a mpg increase only a slight increase in sound. The reason for that is because the turbo does most of the muffling unlike a normal aspirated engine say a gas V8.

More turbo at lower RPMs. Once it gets to 2200 RPMs it's all V8 diesel engine. Sounds amazing compared to with the muffler

I didn't like it at first but it's seriously grown on me.

Sweet I think i'm going to, I want to so bad. Only problem is I got 100,000 km still on warranty. I'm just hoping that the guys at Ford don't try to **** me warranty wise if any turbo problems come up in the future. Right now all I have is a mufler and 6 lift and 37s and they havent complained so I think i'm good. ps, I know this thread isn't for this, but have you noticed any positive things come from the zoodad mod? I live in Alberta with 7 months of snow almost so i'm hesitant
