Purchased new'06 F250 lariat, want to get more power without sacrificing durability. I am looking at programmers and exhaust. Any suggestions?

SCT and MBRP

Just adding my 2 cents...you cant go wrong with either of the products you listed in your title! Most everyone I know is running MBRP exhausts and SCT makes a great product also, both at resonable prices. I personally run Banks product but its quite pricey...I would have no reservations about a MBRP/SCT set-up! Be sure to check out the forums sponsers before you buy...wont find better prices anywhere else!...welcome to the group ...thanks tim

Welcome wtmoran and congrats on the new rig! You're gonna love it trust me. There will be lots of opinions on your question trust me. Personally I've been VERY happy with my setup that I've got in my sig. I ran the Predator before I got the Bully Dog and was extremely happy with it too.

Oh and Tim I'm not sure I had a chance to tell you welcome too!

If you want a programer hands down the SCT is the way to go, and MBRP for any truck is the best bang for the buck. As far as gauges go we carry any brand you can think of. Quadzilla just came out with the Commander Monitor. Its like the Edge Attitude monitor, but it works with any power adding device, or stand alone. I should have prices this week, I had been on vacation all week, and Larry had his hands full running things by himself. Also TS Performance just released the new Heads up monitor that is really cool also. I do recomend monitoring your truck with gauges or a digital monitor system if you plan on adding power to it.

I'm running the 4" Turbo back with no cat MBRP,AFE Intake with no Tuner(yet)and it seemed to help mine on the mid range - top end.

Definitely open up the exhaust first, it'll help cut down on the higher temps that chipping often produces. Plus it'll sound a lot better!
