TS 5X tuner

Just got a mail back from TS. They recommend the new 5X for my '06. Anyone had any experience with one yet or heard good or bad? DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!:

Have had no experience with TS. Wondered about the 5X after I bought my Superchip. If you go with the TS, let me and the forum know your findings.-Later

TS has always done great things for the ford diesels, and we have yet to have a problem with any of there products. If you are looking for max hp and the ability to lock converter and disable EGR valve, adjust tire size, maybe a tow file that will give you an engine brake and stuff like that. I would go with a custom tuned SCT Excal2 from Innovative Diesel. We sell the factory SCT stuff and get all of our custom work from Innovative. The Excal 2 that they are refering to as the best tuner in the shootout you had read was a custom file from Innovative. We carry any programmer or module you could want for your Ford, If your looking for max power we suggest the custom SCT. I run one in my 05 6.0L and it is out of this world. Just tonight I took my mother for a white nuckle ride lol.

What is the price for a custom tune Will be highway time mostly. but will be pulling 10K trailer sometimes. And always got to have butt kicking HP also. Not asking for much just the cake and get to eat it to. Oh that was on the sct x calibrator 2 send me a PM this sounds like what I am looking for Thanks Never mind the PM just talked to ya on the land line Thanks.

I Just talked to the folks at discount perf. parts Ordered a custom tune sct x calibrator has a few more adjustments that make it more to what it will be used for than the 5x. towing ,performance and"Knock your socks off" ,( I mean extreme) I will find out in a week or so. will keep yous up dated. If I can fiqure out how to put Pixs on here, will get some smoke show shots! The price is less than some of the stock tuners. Very inexpensive for what you get

I'm waiting as we speak for mine to come in.I've had my truck at TS 2 times now for them to install the 5x but they are having problems with it reading the 03 6.0's?From what Dennis tells me though it'll be badass when they put it in!

Ya TS is very good. We sell alot of there 6 position chips for the 7.3L's. They perform very well and will not brake the bank.
