if you want autometer or isspro get them from egauges.com prices are the best and theyre great guys over there. Im going to eventually upgrade from glowshift to isspros eventually |

i didnt really have a brand in particular that i was wanting, just a good quality gauge. i was planning on doing a 3 pillar mount. thanks for the website, will def check it out

now that i looked i do kinda like how the glow shifts light up. i wanted something that lit up at night. do autometer and isspro make that

all the gauges light up at night, but the better quality gauges are backlit (glowshifts are backlit too and theyre cheap) the isspros and the autometer ES and GS series are backlit green. The rest are just illuminated

So would you categorize Glowshift's cheapness in the "This gauge is cheap, I wouldn't trust its reading" category or "This gauge is made out of some kinda crappy materials, but I trust its reading" category?

Most people don't like them because they are cheap.....in price. However they built very well actually. They have a very solid feel (better than my brother autometer z series thats for sure). I have Glowshifts and love them, they have great customer service and i had to have a gauge replaced with no questions asked and no problems since. I would trust them any day of the week.
Theyre running a sweet deal right now for march madness 15% off too, get the quad pillar kit on their site |

Thanks, good to hear. I'm not seeing the 15% off though. Coupon code?

I have glowshifts and Im always on here defending them, but about a month ago my trans gauge went hay wire and now my egt is doing the same. The trans one will work but after about 30 sec of running it jumps up and down then just pegs and stays there. My egt will work fine then start jumping from 0 to the current temp and eventually drop to 0 and stay. I thought it was a bad ground or somthing but all wires check out fine plus the light never flickers or goes off, that part works fine. So thats my story. They didnt start doing this until there were about 1 month out of warranty

Mikey,,, did you also check all the grounds in the engine compartment?? If you have a bad/loose ground, it can cause the needle to jump. I had the same issue once, the EGT needle would jump, but the lights never flickered. I found the pass side battery cable that bolts to the lower front on the block had came loose causing a bad ground.
