RCD Tunes... discuss

Always been curious about Josh's tunes, before people start playing games and bashing River City Diesel, I would like to get a solid discussion going about their tunes.

From what I've read they don't seem half bad, and from those who run them say they actually like them...

FYI I wont be running them over my TSD and Quick Tricks tunes, thats not even a question. Ill be adding Eric's and Matts to my list of tunes before these anyways.

My neighbor has an 05 with RCD injectors, heads, bigger turbo, water/meth injection all done by them with their tunes and the truck runs great... wish I had his turbo. He loves the truck and pushes snow with it in the winter.

good to hear, I plan to run their 62mm non vgt turbo down the road with 155cc cass injectors... RCD injectors are those i wouldn't go for... However that is an entirely different subject thats not to be discussed in here

When I had RCD 90hp injectors the RCD street tune was faster than the IDP Extreme street tune and it ran cooler.

never been a big fan of their tunes. They were the worst out of the three i had.

it was smokey, it had erratic shifting and even after having them adjust the tune twice, the throttle was too touchey (would snap your neck back if you touched the throttle).

I have a few others issues as well but dont remember them. lol.

I have rcd tunes in mine it runs great with them, its quite a bit faster than innovative, but its a little smokier.

I remember a post from somebody that had their non VGT setup and RCD was never able to tune it so it didn't surge. He ended up pulling it off and going back to a VGT.

Why would you run a 62 non vgt over a Powermax?

Hmm thats interesting maybe it just was RCD that couldn't get it to not surge?

I've been doing some research and I change my mind daily of what I want to do. I'll more than likely be going with innovative's 155cc's and a powermax mostly for cost effectiveness bang for your buck.

I like the way that sounds myself. Interested in how it works together, power and potential mpg improvements.
