powermax question

Alright lets say I have an early build 04 and I get a powermax for an 04-07 truck what would I need to make it fit? Just the pedestal right? Quick replies would be much appreciated.

How about if he cuts off the cross over support on the intake manifold then weld the cut opening? Or even buy a late '04-'07 intake.
