oil bypass filter

Ok guys help me out. I am trying to find a bypass filter setup(probably from amsoil) for my 6.0 that mounts under the hood. I have seen kits that come with a new oem filter cap and oil fill cap, both with ports on the top and an under hood mounting set up. Cost like $200. Why cant i find them for sale. Not interested in anything fancy, just want better filtration and want an under the hood set up. Thanks in advance

NUC motorsports sells them. They have a web site or go on ebay and look them up. They offer two style kits one with oil pressure gauge and one without. But you won't find it for 200.00. Hope this helps.

yea nuc is good. I found the oil filter mount on ebay for ~$20. so spend some time looking if you want to build it yourself, otherwise it will get pricey.

Why are these so much more expensive than the AMSOIL bypass kit? Are they any better?

You can piece a system together for around $130, that does not include stainless braided hoses which can cost about $75 more... heres mine with the double bracket both filters.

thats a sweet set up with the dual bracket idea, maybe that will be next on my list.

For now I have to concentrate on replacing my FICM, 6.4 banjo bolts, and flushing the ford gold junk out.

Where did you get the double bracket from? I already have a coolant bypass but I would change it to that bracket with no problem.
Thanks,

Mike
