Twin turbo 6.0

Hello everyone. I have recently been kicking around the idea of twin turbos on my 6.0. Does anyone make a twin turbo set up or is it pretty much all custom fabrication? Also what injectors would be necessary for fueling 190cc or much higher? Tuning wise is an sct with custom tunes gonna do the trick or is the truck gonna need to be dyno tuned. There are many other things necessary as well with a twin set up but just trying to get an idea of what this would cost? Maybe a powermax would be plenty with bigger injectors and good tunes. This is just a daily driver and would like to try and be a competor and this truck will never tow a thing. Any ideas would be great.

You are not going to want a twin set up. What you will want is a compound set up. Innovative diesel has a set for $6800. 225cc+ injectors for compounds. You will need a built tranny and a whole lot of other stuff.

powermax with 190s is a fun set up for a whole lot less

Thats what i was thinkin compunds would be fun but that price is expensive. As far as injectors are there any upgraded turbos that will run fine? What is the price of the powermax 190cc? Anything needed to be upgraded other then egr delete and studs?

Compounds = 20 grand or more.

PowerMax and 155s-190's = 10 grand max.

Where is the best place to get upgraded injectors in your own personal opinions? i have a edge cs now. Thinking about getting php tunes on that would that be as good as an sct? What kinda power can you see with powermax 190's and a good tune? Any opinions on best places to buy these parts?

I like Ryan Casserly for the injectors. I would go with a SCT. Nothing against PHP tho. 550hp is about the max you are going to see out of a powermax.

with the 190cc injectors is it necessary to run an air dog? Also if I put a powermax in with stock injectors is it going to be underfueled or will I just not be gaining much performance?

Depends on the goal for your truck. 175's would still give you some tow capacity. With 190's you are going to be pretty limited there, but you said you don't tow. As said a Powermax and 190's can get you to 550 maybe even a bit more depending on the tune. Yes you are going to have to upgrade the fuel system. After 500 your tranny is also in need of upgrading or it will not live very long. For a daily driver I would go with 175's and a Powermax and keep thing right around 500 or a bit under. After that it gets really expensive.
