Quick question hopefully somebody can help me out.
What do you guys think about the hypertech power programmer lll on a stock engine?

Mostly I would like to know if you would trust putting any extra power to it when towing? Even if its just the first stage of three?

SCT with custom tunes may keep your engine and tranny alive. Also keep up on your maintenance, egr, coolers, etc.

I had that on my truck for awhile. I feel that it is a very safe programmer. Even on stage 3 at WOT egt's barley reached 1200. If you put it on a lower tune you wont even have to worry about egt's or anything. It is a completely smokeless programmer

Look at my signiture.

I have been using the Hypertech Max Energy for close to 4 years on a stock truck.

I tow in all levels with no heat problems with the 6 speed standard. The higher the level the more economical it is if you feather the accelerator.

I use it combined with a Scangauge monitor and they have been a great performers.

On stock trucks I have no problem recommending it to any one and feel very safe.

No need to spend any cash on modes with theses to units on the truck while pulling up to 15k.
