2003 Powermax Turbo on an 03 Pedestal for a 2007 6.0

While the cab is off of my truck getting studded I made the decision to add the Garrett Powermax GT3788VA turbo to my list of modifications. Problem is you can’t find one anywhere. Everyone has them on backorder. One of the dealers said that they have the 2003 Powermax in stock and that all I would have to do is replace my 07 pedestal with the 03 pedestal. I’m willing to do this but the mechanic is worried that everything might not line up correctly. Has anyone out there done this or do you know if it will work? If it will, how hard is it to find the 2003 pedestal?

did you try orange county diesel? 714-818-2170.

That would work but its a pain if you ever have to take the turbo off with the cab on.
