couple ?? about livelink & SCT adjustments

this is probably gonna sound pretty dumb but i dont mess with my tunes at all so here it goes . i was wondering what changing shift points actually does . On one of my tunes it seems like it wants to search for a gear if i am cruising steady @ 60 km/h . It will be in whatever gear then drop down one if i dont keep in it . is this normal or can a simple adjustment fix this ?

next i was wondering if the LIVELINK software for datalogging can monitor fuel pressure ?

Has your truck been reflashed by Ford since you got your tunes? Sounds like the strategy my be different between the tuner and the truck. Also, your there is no way to monitor fuel pressure without adding a sending unit and gauge.

When's the last time you serviced the trans? Does it do it on anyother of your tunes? Did you set the rev's per mile right? You can also try taking the rev's per mile up and down a little to see if that helps.

so i did the hand calculations for revs per mile and adjusted it on the tuner . Truck is still on the relearn so we will see . The shifts are definitely quicker so far .
