Injector time!!

Hey everyone truck won't get out of its own way when cold and blows blueish smoke while trying too. Runs pretty good when warm but seems to be gettin worse. Ive talked to few mechanics and different ppl all say sounds like its injectors. So why go stock I've been in contact with dave from swamps and ordering some 6/170/50% sticks for my truck with a powermax turbo. I want to keep the truck where I can drive it and use it for what i bought it for. But also crank it up and break that 500 rwhp mark . Im lookin at fuel pumps now I see everyone seems to favor the airdogs so im leanin towards the airdog I just for the added comfort of havin my stock pump to get me home on if needed. Or is there something im missing on these pumps? Anything else you can think of that would help out would be great. Thanx Also Im considering gettin rid of my K&N filter (not overly happy with it on this truck) and replacing it with a dry filter or whole other intake. Any thoughts??

thats a good all around combo. You will love it.

for the pump I went with the AD2 and couldnt be happier, but it does have the down side of if the pump goes out your sol. If you get the regular AD you will need a regulated return system.

for intake set ups I love my S&B and its very well priced.

Whats the difference between the regular AD and the AD II that makes you need a regulated return for one and not the other?? Do you have the S&B oiled or dry? I've looked at just replacing the filter itself instead of the whole thing.

Hey just got my truck back from swamps. Yes they are buildin 6.0 injectors again. It runs great big improvement and the powermax sounds awesome. I don't have it programmed with my sct yet had to send it off to eric at innovative to get my tunes, but can't wait to get it back and let it eat to see what it'll do. The egt's climb to 1000 pretty easy right now so kinda worried bout that when i hook up to tow but once i get my tow tune i'll find out. But gotta give it to the guys at swamps they were great to work with i would do business with them again.

That's awesome dude! Wish I had the money...

I think we need a video once you get that Xtreme Street loaded.

Also, what fuel pump did you end up installing?
