Aftermarket Intake?

ok guys im do for a new filter on my intake, and was thinking instead of buying an 80 filter, i would go a head and get an aftermarket intake....I know everyone says that the stock intake is good for 500hp, but if im gonna have to put 80 bucks int a filter i just soon get and aftermarket intake.....So my question is which one should i go with....Wat will be as good as the stock and not cause me any problems......Ive heard to say away from K&N, but which one is good....

And if anyone has a used one that would like to get rid of let me know

I can get you an Sealed AFE Stage 2 w/ Pro Dry filter for $250.

I was in the same position as you, and I went with an AFE Stage One. I like the stock intake with my modded snorkel. BTW, you can get a Donaldson filter off eBay for $41.95 to your door.

oh wow thats a good price....I was looking at the Afe and its was gonna be over 400 dollars....

can u reuse ur filters like a K&N thats kinda wat im looking to do....wash and reuse to safe some money....

you can get dry or washable... I went with the washable one
