Put my truck in the 13's
I want the truck in my signature to run 13s. 13.5 would be good enough for me, so what's gonna put me there?

Throw some
on it!!! ![]() Do you have head studs yet?
|

175s an powermax with supporting mods would get you there.

I've heard of a extended can with Xtreme Race and an FICM tune running a 13.4. And I've seen a crew cab go 13.55 with Looney Wild. I say take it to the track, run it a few times and get a baseline. Then go from there.

What about studs? Then a coolant filter and change out the coolant to ELC. Fuel pressure gauge and the Ford blue spring. I'm not trying to start any kind of argument, but if the proper preventative measures aren't taken, your truck may not last long enough for you to really enjoy how fast it can be. Just my opinion.

Truck will be studded. Ran a 14.7 on the looney tune and a leaking EGR cooler. Never really put my foot in it, so I figured 14.3-14.5 was very do-able with a functioning (or deleted egr). 13's on a FICM tune and SCT only? That must've been a really light truck.
MWilbur, I understand where you're coming from. Some people are stupid enough to add a lot to a truck without doing what needs to be done to keep it running. Luckily, I'm not that dumb, so I'm not going to spend the money to add injectors and a turbo to an engine without doing the supporting mods. I didn't mention supporting mods because they're needed for longevity, but they will be done. |

why only 13.5? why not 13? I might know how to get there

I'll be happy with 13.5, ecstatic with a 13.1
Were you running 190's when you ran the 13.1? How well does the powermax clean those up? |
|

|
yes current set up - traction bars and nitrous
didnt clean it up very good |

Glad to hear you're not one of those guys that think they can run huge power on a stock setup and expect everything to hold together forever. Good luck on the modding, it does get addictive.
