banks six gun help
i've got a banks six gun with power pda for my 06 f250. just got done installing it and on the module itself, the red and green lights are blinking and on the pda under the level indicator it goes from saying ok, to a check engine that says banks in it, to what looks like a picture of a turbo with F in the corner. i didnt hook up the egt probe yet and its saying my exhaust temps are 1800 from idle on a cold engine. i ran the diagnostic and it says p100 and description says system checked. just wondering if i did something wrong on the install or if anyone else had this problem... banks' wonderful customer service had me leave a voicemail and they will get back to me within 1 business day
kinda wishing i went with an edge at the moment as they've got the best customer service

What kind of return policy is there with the banks? Im sure a lot of people will chime in soon. SCT with custom tunes is the way to go with these trucks.

if you dont have the egt hooked up, you will need to connect the egt leads (from the programmer) together, this will make the egt read about 80 degrees. go to the second screen on the pda and look at the tuner diagnostics screen( key on) when you exit it will ask if you want to erase data, select yes. all should be well, Just remember you will have no real egt data so don't get too crazy with it. As stated above the sct is the way to go but the six gun is better than nothing.
