SCT SF3 setting questions

I recently got the SCT SF3 tuner and want to know the best tune to use while towing 12,000lb camper. The 3 setting I've seen that might fit are tow-50hp, tow-65hp and aggressive/ tow. I have a stock 05 6.0L with no guages yet. Look forward to the feedback

Towing 12,000 lbs I would recommend leaving it stock unitl you get a EGT Sensor so you can monitor your EGT's. After that then you can use the 50 or 65 HP Tow tune. You dont want your EGT's to get to hot cause it will cause engine damage.

We dont make custom tunes here, We are the Manufacture that makes the programs and software. You can contact Eric@ Innovative, Matt@ Gearheads, Vivian@ Quick Tricks, Tad@ Elite Diesel, Jody@ DP-Tuners, Josh@ RCD, 0r any of our SCT Custom tuning diesel dealers and they can get you taken care of with a custom tune. I would not recommend letting the egts get past 1200 degs on these trucks.

No problem, Matt will get you taken care of with a custom tune and having the alert to 1150 degs is perfect.
