trans temp?

hey guys i was just wondering wat my trans temp should be reading.....just installed it so havent used it much but was wondering where it should sit at.....and help would be great....

The torqshift should be at an average 165* degrees, so anything from 160 to 180 is pretty normal.

my understanding is that it should be about 70 - 80 degrees above the outside temp once warmed up............

I would not keep drive when the temps get over 200* There is a thurmostat with an oil cooler for the trans. It opens at ~170*.

Under 180 is normal. Even unloaded in the summer(california) I will hit 185 at the most. On the HW at ~50-60* out side temp. My trans will stay at 150* +/- 2*.
