New exhaust...sluggish?
Ok i have a bone stock 06 f350 and today i put on a 4' turbo back no cat mbrp exhaust system. Call me crazy but i feel like my truck is a little slower after putting it on? I mean it sounds like a 747 which i love!!!! but i feel like I have a slight power loss.... maybe its all in my head but i was wondering if anyone could make some sense of this. Im pretty sure all the seals are clamped well i spray tested them for leaks and did see anything. Paranoid that i messed something up but my motor temp looks fine and my turbo is still hitting between 20-25 psi per the stock gauges.

Haha well I plan on doin that but I wanna throw a tune or anything else on for that matter until I make sure everything is a ok from the install. Tune and intake will be my next purchase this week, along with gauges....

I just got back from getting my exhaust done as well and my truck seems a little slower too. But as we speak Vivian is helping me get my SCT fixed so it wont be slow for to long!! Also when i spoke to her she said that it is normal for it to seem slower after the exhaust is done.

Good deal! well the SCT SF3 will be ordered later this week! One more question that im sure i am over analyzing on would be is it normal to hear a slight hiss under your hood somewhere near the turbo when the motor is running and your under the hood? Im 95% sure i connected the downpipe correctly but as always i second guess my own work. I would think if it was not attached properly there would be a very noticeable problem but as quoted by my name i am a power-stroke rookie! also does anyone know a good way to pressure check my exhaust seals for leaks? Thanx guys for all your help!!!!

A bigger down pipe will lower bottom end. That's why most say 5" isn't needed untill really hight hp. I still run a 3 1/2 mbrp down pipe.
