Coolant Mixed ? I think I screwed up !

I was low on coolant , using the Prestone ELC GREEN Colored , buddy came over and had a jug of Zerex EC1 so he offered to top it off , I said OK and started doing other Maint. on truck ....looked over and it is RED !!
put in about 1/2 gal......guess I gotta flush it out ??? or will it be OK ? I heard it might gel up ..sure as hell dont want that !

FLUSH IT, you want only the red ELC with no silicates

Both are silicate free , I could only find the Prestone Borate/silicate free when I did my egr delete and its Green , the Red he gave me is Cat EC1 rated ..still need to Flush ??

We all tell you guys use a Cat EC-1 rated ELC. That green stuff is not ready for a diesel.

yep ...just flushed it out again and bought some EC1 this time , I used the green cause it was silicate free and all that was availible at the time..NAPA got me 4gal. in today of the Cat EC1 :-)
