Stock Budget Build

As the title states, im on a budget build.

Im thinking on a budget of about $5,000. A list of things performance wise would be appreciated.
I have an '03 6.OH.
-Regular cab if it makes any difference.

Shes bone stock and has 60K miles.

Any input would be appreciated!

I want your budget.

What are your goals, if any? Do you plan to tow with it? How much weight?

Budget is over the course of a longer period.

- I have no intentions to tow, maybe a small trailer for hauling toys or etc, on a rare occasion.
(Dirtbikes, fourwheelers etc.)

I do plan to plow in the winter if that does make a difference though. The truck has a plow mount bolted on.

start with guages, exhaust, and SCT tunes, after that if you can spend the money i would do the EGR delete/rebuild the oil cooler, swapping over to ELC coolant with a filter, and ARP studs if money allows

Thanks,

I plan to do gauges as a very first thing.
- then to a turbo-back, possibly with stacks.

Exhaust
coolant filter
Gauges (including a fuel pressure gauge)
SCT w/ custom files
EGR delete and oil cooler
Air dog fuel pump & new banjo bolts, maybe a fuel cross over line
ARP studs
Modded FICM flash

That ought to eat up your budget...

Then you're ready to spend some real money on injectors, turbo, tranny.

Thank you all!

For now:
1) Gauges, (boost, trans, and EGTs)
2) Turbo-back, grandrock big rig w/ mitres.
3) EGR Delete

... in no particular order. This is for now! Does anyone know of any really good deals on wheels and tires?
And also stacks for cheap?

- I have about a grand in hand, where would you put this on a stock truck?
