Juice Platinum with Attitude
Is anyone running the juice P W/Attitude? Im bouncing back and forth between that and the ford evo. The attitude seems to do everything for you instead of buying a programmer then the insight.
just wanting some real time info, thanks... |

SCT, custom tunes and gauges is the only way to go IMHO.

sct is the way to go on a 6.0... the edge is ok for a little something, it dose not tune the trans and is not as safe on head gaskets as the sct (tuned properly)... if your just looking for a little gain in power and are not worried about tearing a trans up then the edge is the way to go. I seriously recommend that you look in to getting a sct with custom tunes from innovative and a set of gauges IMO.

I havent tried anything from innovative but I'm running gearheads SRL+ and at 30psi theres not much out there that can touch me. I'm very impressed with SCT after running Edge and superchips previously.

I am running a bullydog right now that was on 2 previous company trucks I had. I had great success with it. I just picked up an edge fairly cheap and bought it just to get the monitor. I havnt installed it yet as my truck is off the road for the winter and buried under 5feet of snow. I am looking forward to trying it in may when I put my truck back on the road. My truck is a 6 speed so I am not worried about possible transmission issues. I heard the bullydog could hurt transmissions as well but my old boss has 200k miles on his without a problem and he drives his truck HARD.

My truck had an EJP on it when I bought it. It made OK power but the defueling to keep the tranny alive was a major PITA to live with day to day. I just got tired of getting lurched front to back every single shift.
The tranny WAS NOT a happy camper. It never behaved the same one day to the next. Shift flare, gear hunting, and botched downshifts were regualar occurances. Ever since I went with the SCT w/Innovative tunes, the trans has been 100% spot on. Never an issue. Its nice to have the motor making full power through the shifts. Not to mention how much more refined the shifting is. Bottom line. There is NO comparision to be made to the SCT. SCT>All others. Always. P.S. Another Edge issue I would have from time to time.... Once and a while the turbo would stop boosting out of the blue. Loss of boost and copius amounts of raw fuel out the tailpipe. Not fun. "Fooling" these trucks to make power is not the thing to do. |

Thanks for the info, this is what makes this sight great! Apparently SCT is the favorite and not just on this thread...
