AFE SITE HAS BIG CLAIMS FOR HP/TRQ ....NOW COMMING FROM A BMW TUNNING GROUP I KNOW MORE AIR IN NEEDS MORE AIR OUT IE....EXHAUST HEAD WORK ETC... IN ORDER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE BUT OUR M3"S ARE N/A NOT F/I SO ARE THE GAINS FROM THE DYNO CHARTS ON AFE'S WEBSITE FOR THIS INTAKE LAGIT OR NO.....IM NOT NOR AM I GOING TO RUN A TUNE JUST AN EXHAUST....

im still pretty new here, but first thing, lose the caps!! its like yelling...not needing....but as for the intake everything i have read says that the stock intake is the best u will get unless u are looking to go over 500 hp

Installed afe stage 2 on my truck and noticed a differance. My exhaust is 4" form turbo back no cat or muffler. Yes the stock filter is good for 500 HP but the aftermarket intake is smooth on the inside, unlike the stock unit.I beleive this is where the differance comes from. Just my thoughts.
