Hey guess what, you don't clean a stock filter and they last upwards of 2-3 years in average environments.
My advice, spend some time searching so you don't get blasted. The majority of everyone you ask is going to tell you the same thing, leave it alone. Some will just just approach you nicer than others.
I went with a S&B CAI with a K&N Fliter. You can just open up the window on top with 4 screws and remove the filter only to clean it. The stock one does flow good though. I only used this one since it was part of a trade deal.
Ya I forgot about it. Just sucks pulling it out to clean it I was looking for something easier to get out
