newb question, banjo bolts?

what exactly are banjo bolts? i see it has something to do with fuel. sorry for the folks that are gonna ***** about the search function!

they are what connect and the fuel line to the motor and send the fuel into the fuel rail...people upgrade to the 6.4 banjo's due to large opening, less restriction. and no check valve on the system. hope this helps you out

It's more of a 'cheap insurance' policy on your engine. You just have a far less chance of leaning out the air/fuel mixture with the added flow of the 6.4 bolts.
