exhaust smell

About a month ago I installed a mbrp turbo back exhaust no cat. Ive been noticing here lately how bad the exhaust smell is now. My garage even smells terrible from it, its so bad it burns your nose when you walk in the garage or if you walk by it when its running. Did just eliminating the cat cause this terrible smell? If so its going back on

Check and make sure all your clamps are tight. Including the downpipe

I dont really have the smell inside the truck, its more on the outside. I expected some more odor from the removal of the cat but nothing like this.

Other people think my exhasut smells really bad, but I like the smell of diesel. I have no cat on the wifes 4runner and her exhaust reaks as well.
Thing about no cats on our trucks is it lowers the egts and lets the turbo breath easier

I'd guess it has something to with all your clams. Make sure they're tight

This weekend I will check the clamps as I am doing a coolant flush, installing a coolant filter, switching to rotella t6 oil and adding some rev x. Busy weekend

I have a stronger smell too after I did the mbrp cat delete. I am pretty sure it is the removal a the cat the makes the stronger smell hence the whole reason behind the cat, better emissions.
