Hard to get truck to boost over 20psi

I have noticed that when i get on my truck the boost gauge rarely gets over 20psi. I might hit 30 with a boosted 4x4 launch MAYBE, but very rare. It is the way I drive, or is something up with my truck??

I have tried rolling into the throttle, and stomping on it quick, both seem to produce the same boost levels.

When she does hit 30, the power is unbelievable, and I would like to see more of that!!!

Just remember 28lbs boost on a stock motor they will take it for a while you may need ARP studs and your truck could look like this

You could always pull off the vacum line if the boost means that much to you. I don't think it is real good for it, but it will increase your boost, I have a 6.4 that runs 38 lbs stock so I don't have that problem, I would like to run less boost and try to get better mpg.

scparrish, Nice bulldog.

I could hit 29lbs all day long with my tunes. Non-studded tunes.
