Ok i have decided to put a 4" turbo back (no cat) exhaust on my dd 2006 f350. There are so many choices i need a little bit of help narrowing down what i should go with. 1. Go with SS or alum? I live in Houston TX 2. muffler or no muffler? 3. Brands? im liking MBRP for the price. and finally 4. Tip or straight pipe? i want a good loud throaty sound but nothing to ridiculous.

I ended up getting silverline SS 4" exhaust and I couldn't be happier. Sounds great and comes with a nice tip and muffler(can remove) and all the hangers and clamps you need. I live in the salt belt so rust is an issue. I bought a kit from hog performance I think and the down pipe wouldn't fit my truck, after two of them I gave up. I put the silverline on my truck in 15min at lunch. It has a 3.5" downpipe which is plenty big. A true 4" downpipe is a very tight fit, unless it has been squeezed somewhere.

I have the 4" straight piped MBRP aluminized steel I recommend it.

I have the 4" stainless HOG exhaust w/ 5" down pipe and 5.5" tip. No cat. Small muffler. Sounds like a jet. I'd get it again.

i like the MBRP aluminum straight pipe kit... its under 300 shipped to your door

i have a 4"dp, no squeezes, no dimples, fits perfect, no rubbing or knocking.

that deal cannot be beat.

friend at the dealership installed it, said it fit way better than the other kits he has installed

Get the SS. It lasts longer than the aluminized cheaper steel. I have the 4" DP, and it was a bear, but it fit. Muffler or no muffler. Don't think it matters on the 6.0. Their straight pass through, and don't do much. The t-back exhaust on the 6.0 sound wierd if you haven't heard one before. Just whistles at idle.

I have a ss Aero turbine 4" with a 6" tip no cat. the Turbine sounds awesome. Sounds like a Jet taking off
