Coolant puking....has me puzzled!!

Ok guys, i'll keep this short. I've been having a problem for a while with coolant puking from the degas cap. So I finally rigged me up a little "tester" (30psi pressure in-cab gauge hooked up to the degas bottle). I did a few WOT from a stop and a few overdrive high boost runs and i never got over about 10-11psi on the gauge! So, i'm not really sure why i'm puking coolant. I've bought about 3 new degas caps and the rim of the bottle looks perfectly flat. I was initially assuming headgaskets were gone again, but I would think that would cause ALOT of pressure in the coolant system.
Here's a little loop too.....I have a slight amount of oil in the degas bottle! BUT I don't know if it is recent or from when the last owner had the the oil cooler fail. (During that failure he replaced it, added ARP's, Black Onyx gaskets, decked the heads, deleted the EGR and added the coolant filter).
What the heck do I need to be looking at here?!?! I have a few videos of the "tester" that i'm going to try to load but i'm still learning my Mac.

Thanks!
Jeremy

Send a message via Yahoo to Dave
Are you filling to the min line or max line on the bottle?

It'll puke even when no fluid is showing in the bottle. I'm starting to believe my bottle has a crack in it somewhere.

I think you should find a way to monitor EOT and ECT.......just because he said the cooler was replaced does not mean it was recent.

I had an Edge Juice with Attitude up until about 2 months ago. I sold it to possibly get ready to buy an SCT. But the EOT and ECT were usually about 7-8 degrees apart. I need to get an Insight soon.
