ODBII parameters
Does anyone have list of parameters that can be displayed by the SCT Livewire? I have read the spec on the website, but I was looking for something more vehicle specific. It's a lot of money to drop only to find out the parameters I'm looking for are not available. I hear trans temp is supposed to be added on future updates, but I'm not sure about the others (coolant temp, oil temp, ficm voltage, etc).

I monitor Boost, ECT, EOT, RPM, VSS and EGT (Through the egt kit from SCT) on mine daily. You can monitor 6 total, and there are 2 options for Tranny temp. The info for tranny temp comes from the sender that is connected to the dash tranny gauge so I don't monitor that one..
If you want to monitor EOT you will need to download a dlf. file to your livewire via the updater. If you want that file let me know and I'll pass it along. The capability to monitor EOT isn't in the livewire program initally from SCT, but the file came from Dave at SCT Tech Service and when downloaded you can monitor it. I found it on this site some time ago and have used it ever since. |

Thanks. That is exactly the info I was looking for. I'm looking at getting the Livewire soon along with the EGR delete and update fuel pressure spring kit. I just wanted to make sure I could monitor the things I need to.

You will need the additional file to monitor EOT. I'll try to paste it below.
Here is the fix for the EOT reading correct for on device datalogging. Both are links and you will download the file and you will also need the device updater installed. http://www.sctflash.com/SCTFiles/6.0L/diesel.dlf http://www.sctflash.com/SCTFiles/6.0L/diesel.dlx Use the DLX file for the TSX and the DLF file for the LW/X3P Load this file to the device using the “Transfer File” button in updater |
