Got questions about head studs/ egr delete?

Just got studded. How much more power is there really w/ stock injectors left in the tune? Also what about deleting the egr? After reading on these forums alot a people say that deleting the egr wont free up anymore power, but others (and some local people ive spoke with) say they feel a definate power gain. After looking at a egr kit I just cant see how it makes more power but I can see how it might spool faster. Anyone got any input on this?

The studded tunes will push more boost and a tad more fuel and timing. It will prbably net you about 15 HP.

As far as the EGR delete adding HP, probably not. My turbo whistle is louder and it spools quicker now with the delete, though.

From what I understand about egr systems, deleting it would have to give you alittle bump in power. The purpose of egr is to introduce dirty air into the combustion camber to keep the cyl temps done to reduce the nox output. If intake charge is all clean air then how could it not give you a boost in potential power.
