Swamp's 58vt. FICM's Question
Basicly I want to know ....is the extra $150 worth it ??
the std. 58vt. FICM costs $450 The HP 58vt.FICM with performance upgrade is $600 Who is running what and can you go into more detail about how your truck ran with either one of these ?? I don't mind coughing up another 150 clams if there is a significant gain to be had , if it makes a big difference then I will go for it !

I am running the Swamps 58v FICM. I noticed a big change in how the truck started and how much smoother and quieter the engine sounded. It was 16° here in Indiana the other day. I didn't have my truck plugged in and it fired right off. I would def. upgrade to at least this system from Swamps.

Everything swamps makes is great. If you have any questions call them up and they will let you know everything you want.

called and talked to Dave but he did not go into any specifics about the 2 ...thats why I'm trying to get actual user feedback...I have heard great things about the std.58vt....
just want to know if the Performance Tune is worth the extra $150 |

The performance tune is different than the 58v conversion. I have Swamps 58v FICm and PHP performance tune. I think any FICM tune is worth the money, my truck ran SOOOO much better with the FICM tune, smoother, quieter, easier starts and just all around better performance. Fork over the money, you will appreciate it.
