just got my insight. what must i display?

so i am very new to diesel and bought my inisight CTS yesterday from vivian and got it today! i have not bought the egt probe yet but i need to know what numbers to didsplay and wher i want those numbers to be. i feel like a fool buying the guage and not knowing what to look for but im new and dont wanna burn up the truck and also want to check out the cooler and make sure its performing! i plan on doing the egt in the spring when it warms up.

exhaust gas temp(egt), engine coolant temp(ect), trans temp, engine oil temp(eot)

I have the Insight CS. I nearly always run the 8 value display mode.

RPM,Gear/TCL
Boost,Battery volts, EGT
Coolant T, Oil T, Trans T

When Edge comes out with a pressure transducer, I'll drop boost or rpm and put oil & fuel pressure up.

The main thing everyone's gonna say is to watch coolant T versus oil T. Consensus is that oil T should not be more than 15° above coolant temp.
