Custom fuel system need help

So I have a question I want to do a fuel system upgrade but i dont want an air dog. So my question if i add an aftermarket fuel pump do i have to piggy back the factory fuel pump or can i eliminate it and go with the new fuel pump to supply my fuel system on top of the engine.

Why don't you want to use a airdog?

I have a regulated return system on the engine and the air dog would be a redundant and expensive pump

Get and AirDog 150 to push your stock pump.

what the fun in buying something some one else has already built when you can use your mind and build something of your own

Keeping the factory one is better because if it fails you have a back up to get you home.

LOL, I'd stick with tried and true. I'd rather be driving a truck with an AirDog than sitting on the side of the road with a failed pump as a result from trying to be "different."
