Coolant flush questions!

I have found Restore here locally and it is $25 a gallon. How much do I need?
They also have Rotella Red 50/50 for $9.95 a gallon , will this work and how much do I need? Thanks in advance.

I found it at Vanguard Truck Center of Tucson, 1-866-652-2621. They have to get it in from Phoenix, the Rotella ELC is in stock. I am still looking for the quantity if anyone can answer.

You want a CAT EC-1 rated ELC coolant. Fleetcool is not it.

Fleetguard, Fleetrite, Rotella, Delo, Cat, Prestone, Zerex, Texaco among others all make a CAT EC-1 rated ELC coolant.
PGreenSVT is who i learned bout flushing these trucks with restore, vc9 and switching coolant

I think it's 1 gallon restore, 2 qts. restore plus if you are doing that flush, and you want the concentrate, not the 50/50. PGreenSVT has a dissertation on the subject here, do a quick search for that. It has all the info you'll need.

For a F-Series you need 14 quarts of straight unmixed coolant as long as you don't have anything added on to your cooling system.
