help with sct sf3 programmer please

i have a 2006 f250 6.0L and just got an sct sf3 tuner and i know custom tunes are the best way to go but havent had time to do my heads and egr yet so i just wanted to try out the 3 pre loaded tunes i hear it comes with so i plugged my programmer into the truck and clicked on tune vehicle and it had 3 options return to stock, strategy, custom so i clicked on strategy and it did its thing im hoping it saved my stock tune but not sure. the truck seems like it has more power but i have no idea how to get these 3 different tunes or when i click on strategy again it says it doesnt reconize my truck or something. what is strategy and does anyone know what hp or tq it loaded on my truck thanks for any help guys

When you plugged it in to get the strategy there should have been a bunch of numbers and letters that came up. You take that number and email it to wherever you got the tuner from. I went through Innovative Diesel Performance so I took the strategy number and emailed it along with the mods I had done to the truck. They then send you back the tunes through attachments in an email. You have to install the driver for the tuner on your computer and you load the tunes onto that and then plug the tuner into your computer and load the custom tunes onto the tuner. Then you plug the tuner into your truck and load whatever tune you want into the truck. And away you go. I think it came with instructions on how to do all of this. Where did you get the programmer from?

just a truck accessories shop that sells everything they dont do tuning so i ordered the sf3 thinking it came with 3 tunes for a stock truck but i guess i was wrong and now got screwed over

I have a Sf3 and mine came with a econ tune a extreme tune and a street performance tune also came with 2 tow tunes. i also had idp build me some tunes. when you go into strategy it should give you several options to different tunes.. you prob need to go online and update your software on your sct.. my extreme tune buitl by idp is 525 hp and 900? foot pound toqure

ok i went on sct wed site and i put my programmer serial number in and it says i can update my device firmware and theirs updates for the tune revision would this help??? and how do i do it jsut download the new software then plug my programmer into my computer?
