head gaskets

i guys what is the best head gasket kit to go with. I was told that the black oxidized gaskets seem to be going so they came out with a new set is this right. What should i go with

Black Onyx is the correct term.

There are many different ways to go here. I personally have the Black Onyx gaskets in my truck because the previous owner put them in. Gaskets ARE important but by far the studs AND getting the heads PERFECTLY flat are of the upmost importance! The best gasket money can buy will leak if the heads aren't flat.

Look up Victor Reinz for the HGs. Black Oynx are overpriced.
