EGR delete kits are all basically the same. You can spend too much for one. Just do your homework and don't get snookered by flashy advertising.

If you have to worry about emmisions inspection and testing look into Bullet Proof Diesel's EGR Cooler. If emissions are not an issue in NJ then I would look for a kit that uses bolt in blank offs and a solid up pipe just in case laws change in the future. The reason behind that is because the engine came from the manufacture with emmisions equipment you will not be able to grandfather the emmisions test. I hope this info helps in your decision.

Thanks, I remember when the Liberator first came out, It cost around $700. Its only $300 now. I guess as long as its stainless, it doesnt matter. One guy just posted that the new up pipe from his kit was 5/8" too short. Thats what I dont want.

I mentioned to the shop that I may want to only install the sneaky pipe to keep the factory look and he tried to talk me out of it becasue he said that antifreeze is still running through the cooler. I dont think thats a problem because its not going to be hot but I guess hes the expert
