PB blast the band clamp on the stock down pipe (try at least a few hours prior). A sawzall makes life easier than a hacksaw. An extra set of hands never hurt .

Be carefull @ the downpipe. Install everything loose until completed then tighten everything down once your satisfied... Good Luck...Your going to enjoy it...Steve

I found it easiest to cut the downpipe towards the bottom so I had more wiggle room to get it out.

I would suggest the carbide tipped sawzall blades from Harbor Freight. They cut through that exhaust like butter. I busted a BUNCH of Dewalt blades before realizing that I needed something better. Have 2 people to install your downpipe. You be up top to line it up and have a buddy on the bottom feeding it from below. (For this, you WILL thank me later...
) It WILL be a pain in the butt to get in there, but it WILL eventually fit without any firewall modifications. Be patient, have a beer or two and go back at it. Measure twice, cut once. I LOVE my MBRP exhaust and it sounds awesome! Just remember, you can do it. If I can do it, ANYBODY can...

Well got the exhaust done today and it went on real easy. One pointer i would like to share with others is if you spray those rubber boots that hold the hangers is with some lube those babys come right out. Also good tip on the second person with the down pipe.
